As one of the founding partners on Eurobest, the celebration of European creativity held in Helsinki, we created a device that only dispensed beer whenever two or more phones were being charged at the same time in one of the beer stations. Powered by Raspberry Pi, a USB hub detected when the phones were connected and this opened the draft taps on the beer dispensers, resulting in a much more refreshing way to catch up with people at the festival.

Rio de Janeiro was the Pan American games host in 2007. Because of that, the Torch of Pan American Games passed through several of the main cities of Brazil. Before the games’ opening, the Torch went to Palácio do Planalto, Brazilian presidential palace, were it was held by then President Luís Inácio Lula da Silva and national sports celebrities.
